Justin Bieber has landed a cameo role on `The Simpsons`
The 18-year-old singer will make a brief appearance on an upcoming episode of the hit cartoon comedy called `The Fabulous Baker Boy` as a talent show hopeful who fails to make the cut.
Al Jean, the show`s executive producer, told Entertainment Weekly: "He tries to get into a talent show that Bart is playing piano in and they won`t admit him. Draw your own conclusions.
"It`s a cameo. But all of his fans should watch every minute of the show, before and after he`s on."
The `Boyfriend` singer shared the news with his fans on twitter on 21.08.12, posting: "Just did a voice over for the SIMPSONS!!! #swaggy (sic)"
However, the tweet has since been deleted.
It seems the teen idol`s wish has been granted after Justin expressed his desire to experiment with acting.
The pop star recently said: "I hope to do some more acting. I have only done a few things like `CSI`, but I really want to do some more acting."
Justin briefly appeared as an alien in `Men In Black 3` and will play the lead in Mark Wahlberg`s upcoming basketball movie.
Justin`s episode will air in 2013 as part of the long-running show`s 24th season.
